Started with the themes you created

Hi Sam

I have tried to save the 3dblue theme generated using ur package, unfortunaetly , drupal couldn't detected it in the themes page. so what i did is that i deleted the content of bluemarine theme and damp the 3dblueimages & xtmplate file. I got the screenshot image on the theme page and the fonts are changed into the new one , as for the structure , there is no change. I don't know what must i change. I always refresh and delete any offline files to see changes , but still am battling.

RE: Started with the themes you created

Dan:

Are you actually asking me something, or is this just a comment?

it is a question actually

I can't see the themes when i add them to a drupal theme folder. what could be the reason, i can see when i add the themes that i downloaded from drupal themes

RE: it is a question actually

Dan:

The most likely reason why you cannot see the themes when they have been uploaded to the web server is due to incorrect directory paths for the themes folders.

Make sure you have set both the "Themes Directory path on your computer" and "Themes Directory path on web server" on the "Settings" sheet correctly within the Drupal Theme Generator program. The cell popup comments should explain this and are stated below.

Themes Directory path on your computer:
Enter the relative path to the Drupal Themes directory on your computer starting with a forward slash (/). Do not enter a trailing slash after the directory name.

Example: /themes

Themes Directory path on web server:
Enter the relative path to the Drupal Themes directory on your web server. If your Drupal site is located in the root directory, then start with a forward slash (/). If your Drupal site is located in a sub directory, then do not start with a forward slash (/) Do not enter a trailing slash after the directory path.

Example (root): /themes
Example (sub directory): themes

Why not an OpenOffice.org version

Dear developer,

I found your nice tool, but, at this time it is of no use to me because i only operate on OSS based software. Therefor, i would kindly request you to port your nice tool to OpenOffice.org, so people like me are not forced to buy bloated software from a monopolistic vendor like Microsoft.

RE: Why not an OpenOffice.org version

Dear debhacker:

I have not worked in OpenOffice and have always been an Excel user / programmer since Excel was first released. If OpenOffice can open Excel (xls) documents and run VBA macros, then you should be able to use the Drupal Theme Generator.

RE: Why not an OpenOffice.org version

You could try Openoffice.org for free? It's free! It's there for you too! Give it a shot and get it from www.openoffice.org. Get yourself surprised!

For example: How much work must you do, and how much money must you invest to make a PDF document out of you MS documents? I don't spend money? I just push the 'export as PDF' button in Openoffice.org.

And, it has about 10% of the footprint of MS Office. So if you like to 'invest' into the OSS, give it a shot!

Regards,

DebHacker

RE 2: Why not an OpenOffice.org version

I have evaluated Openoffice many times over the years since it began.

My business associates and I have chosen the MS Office environment as our standard Office platform and do not have any problems with it. We just prefer it. Also, for me, it offers a good cross application programming functionality.
