Works like a charm

Sam:

That worked great.

Why do you need the </font> at the front and the <font> at the end of the command?

RE: Works like a charm

Mark:

You need to use the both the closing HTML </font> tag and the opening <font> tag in the code because you are using the "Company Name" field that was initially designed to accept text. In order to make this field function with an image hyperlink, you must first close the font tag for the text field and open another font tag to continue the code for the rest of the page. To understand why this is necessary, view the HTML source code of a published page.

Thank You!

Sam:

Thank you for the nice comments about my site. Xlecom makes is SO easy!

And thanks for noticing the vertical ad height. That part was just a litte tricky as I also wanted the "Add to Cart" buttons to be at the same height as well, so I had to experiment with the Item name cell height and the Item description cell height. I wanted as little extra white space as possible on the shorter ads.

There was one other thing I was trying to do that I could't figure out. As you can see, I'm using a modified background image with the site name instead of using text. I was wanting to make the image clickable to take people back to the home page. Can that be done? Or even just make the company part of the top area clickable?

Thanks,

Mark

RE: Thank You!

Mark:

Yes, you can add a clickable logo type image to your site. See the following Helpful Information topic: How to Add a Custom Logo to your Website. I updated this topic page to reflect your request. Refer to the second method.

Excellent Website, Mark !

Mark:

Your "Military Pride" website released on May 9, 2006 is truly a fine example of what can be achieved with the XLEcom program. It looks professionally done while accounting for all the fine details. Using both a short description and a bulleted feature list in your Product Ads makes your site look slick and clean while providing easy reading for your visitors. By making all your Product Ads the same vertical height displays a sence of professionallism in design.

I consider this website to be an excellent example of achievement.

BTW: Both the Desktop and small File / URL version of your Favicon works well.

Great Job Mark !
