Type mismatch error

Sam:

When I publish my latest site, I get a Microsoft Visual Basic popup error that reads:

Run-time error '13':
Type mismatch.

I click end and the publish seems to finish.

What is this error and how can I make it go away?

Thanks,

MArk

Sam:

XLEcom processed the index page after I cleared the error, so I looked there first and found some strange data in the last box on my index page, I deleted it and the error went away.

Thanks,

Mark

RE: Type mismatch error

Mark:

It's most likely caused by some bad data you entered into the Database. I can't really answer this question without seeing the error for myself. It's too vague as it stands for now. Zip up the XLEcom.xls file and send it to me.

Also, include the following information:

Your Operating System - i.e. Microsoft® Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, XP, or any 2003 Server version
Version of Microsoft Excel - i.e. Microsoft® Excel 2000, 2002 (XP), or 2003

Also see if this Microsoft issue applies to you: "Run-time error:'13' Type Mismatch" error message when you click a macro or a function on a menu in Excel 2002
