Some of the New Features Explained

The Body Table and Header Area Now User Resizable

Previous Version of XLEcom
Prior to the new release, the Body Table and Header Area was set to a fixed width of 575 pixels to accommodate both small monitors and to allow the web pages to fit properly on a sheet of standard 8.5 x 11 inch paper if printed. The new release now allows the web designer to change the Body Table and Header Area width to accommodate newer, larger screen monitors.

The following Dialog box and the two web page screen shot images are from the previous versions of XLEcom.

New Version

The New Version of XLEcom
The new release now allows the web designer to change the Body Table and Header Area width to accommodate newer, larger screen monitors.

In order to allow a variable width for the Body Table and Header Area, the shaded color Header Area that previously used a graphic image, now uses the Dynamic Resizable Top Decoration Header. This is the same type of Decoration Header used on the Product Ads. You still have the option to use the graphic image if so desired.

Note: The default setting for the Display the Body Area Header Image check box within the Site Themes is now unchecked (off). Therefore by default, the Body Area Header uses the same color as the "Decoration Header" of the Product Ads. If you prefer to use the Display the Body Area Header Image (boxed checked), keep in mind that these particular images we designed for a Body table and header area width of 575 pixels (see the Site Setup). If you do not want to display a header, then uncheck the Display a border around the Page's Content check box.

Added optional width and height dimensions to the credit card image that appears within the left side of the site. You can see the added width and height input boxes in the screen shot below.

New Stock Note Behavior

Converted the Stock Note to optionally support web urls and files. (Similar to the Product Ad Comment Hyperlinks)
XLEcom
version 4.3 introduces a new Auto-Sensing Behavior for the Stock Note. Previously the Stock Note was just static text. Now the Stock Note can be a hyperlink to any type of document file or website URL. The following illustration shows the behavior of the Stock Note. For more information, see the following page: Stock Note Behavior
